Whitianga's dining scene is a delight! We strolled over to Cafe Nina for a scrumptious brunch and made lovely memories at Al Camino with their tacos. The heated blankets in our Superior Studio added a cozy touch, while the cleanliness and fully stocked kitchen ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.
Though it got a bit toasty in the room without aircon, grateful for the fans! The sneaky 3.5% fee for using a credit card had me doing a double take, but it didn't ruin a great experience overall.

I had deluxe king studio with windows overlooking garden and lovely bed. Kitchenette was useful, I used a microwave, an electric kettle and fridges. The location of the hotel was particularly good and magnificent - just a pleasant stroll away from The Lost Spring.

The room was clean and equipped with a useful kitchenette, though rather dated. The owner was friendly but not always available, and I was left a bit confused with no one at reception upon arrival. It’s a quick walk to the shops and beach.

great stay , but minor details could be improved
The room was clean , spacious , and decorated in a modern style. I appreciated the early check-in and the owner's warm welcome. The garden view from the deck was quite serene.
Some amenities seemed slightly outdated.

The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials, making it easy to prepare our meals .
The bathroom cleanliness needs improvement, as there were some moldy areas around the plug holes.

The rooms had everything needed, with a little kitchenette to whip up meals. A nice touch of a private deck that caught the afternoon sun. The unit was actually spacious and quiet, away from the road noise.
Unfortunately, the place is showing its age, with outdated decor and a few cleanliness issues in the bathroom, particularly around the plug holes. It also got quite warm without air conditioning, a bummer, and the 3.5% extra charge for credit card payments felt sneaky, even if it was small print somewhere. Then there was the unpredictability of hot water-one morning, it just didn't come through, which wasn't ideal.

Choosing the Superior Studio was a great decision. It felt light and airy. The heated blankets added a cozy touch during our brief stay. I appreciated having everything we needed, like cookware and kitchen utensils. We had a minor issue with parking. Someone parked in our designated area, which could've been managed better. The bathroom, while modern and spacious, had some cleanliness issues that need addressing-there was mold in the plug holes. Despite these setbacks, our time here felt comfortable and cozy. Fred, the manager, ensured our needs were met. He had our room prepared before we arrived. I would comfortably return for another stay, given the value it offers in Whitianga.

The room was impressively spacious and spotless, and I loved the little mini-kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. Relaxing on the sun terrace or enjoying the garden area was a great way to unwind. Just a heads-up, the water pressure could be a bit spotty, but overall, it was an enjoyable stay! 😊

It was just a commendable fit for a couple of nights in Whitianga with decent value for money. The two toilets in the three-bedroom house were a bonus for our family of six. Don't hesitate to ask for extra kitchen utensils if you need them.

The one-bedroom apartment offered a pleasant atmosphere, with a lovely small private deck. The location was convenient, with access to nearby dining options, including a barbecue facility. The parking situation was problematic, as someone parked in our designated spot, and the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired with mould noted around the plug holes. While the hosts were friendly, there were times when staff availability was lacking was nice.
